I was back at my local, Rowton Hall, for the lovely wedding of Katherine and Stephen . . . but before that I took a trip to Frodsham, the town were I grew up to cover bridal preps. Katherine is also from Frodsham and so she was back at her parents to get ready for her big day. I really enjoyed photographing Katherine getting ready as she was such a mega calm bride who was just looking forward to the rest of the day.
After the lovely ceremony at Frodsham Methodist Church it was off to Rowton via a thistle infested field for some cool portraits of Katherine and Stephen. Thanks for braving the field guys and I know at the time it may have looked a little strange as I dived into the thistles like a commando to take the shots but there was definitely method to the madness – the shots are some of faves!
